Basic Description

The Fanuc M-710i is a high-speed 6-axis robot that is used for manufacturing and system processes. A double-jointed arm allows it to have a large horizontal stroke, while maintaining a small footprint. The M-710i was designed for material handling, machine loading and unloading, parts transfer, assembly, waterjet cutting, die casting, dispensing, material removal, and palletizing. Fail-safe brakes give the Fanuc M-710i increased safety. Versatility is maximized by flexible mounting options and an inline wrist design. The high power-to-weight ratio of the AC servo motors allow extreme speeds, while the rigid body design of the M-710i allows precise positioning.
